The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Stephen Gitahi Kiama visited the College on Wednesday March 3, 2021 from 3:00 pm. The purpose of the visit was to check on the progress regarding renovation works at Tana Kitchen so as to enable students use the new  kitchen.  The renovation had been going on for the last one year and 90% of the work had been done. The contractor informed the Vice-Chancellor that the pace of the work had been slowed down by impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic.

On arrival, he was welcomed by the acting College Principal, Prof. Rose Nyikal, among other College and University officials. After a brief meeting that he chaired in the College boardroom, the Vice-Chancellor and his entourage went to the Tana Kitchen where he made a thorough inspection of the on-going works that include plumbing, electrical fittings, painting and tiling. He met the contractor and it was agreed that any pending works be completed by Tuesday March 9, 2021 for the handing over to take place.

The Vice-Chancellor directed the contractor to ensure that the work is done as per the specifications.
