The Department of Veterinary Pathology Microbiology and Parasitology , Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
University of Nairobi, hosted a guest lecture by Professor Craig Linden; a Prof of Pathology at University
of Tennessee on Thursday November 23, 2023 from 08:00am to 10:00 am. The lecture was about Gross
Pathology, techniques, lesion descriptions and necropsy tips. It was attended by 4 th and 5 th year
veterinary students and representative faculty. This lecture was illustrative, interactive and insightful
and interfaced with inquisitive online question and answer feedback sessions that facilitated uptake of
concepts. Prof Peter K. Gathumbi of the Department of Veterinary Pathology, Microbiology and
Parasitology UoN, was the anchor and link person with Prof. Craig Linden, images to the lecture are
