65TH GRADUATION CEREMONY – FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2021

The University of Nairobi wishes to inform all students who qualified for the award of various degrees and diplomas at the end of last academic year (2020/2021) and members of the public, that the 65th Graduation Ceremony will be held VIRTUALLY on Friday, September 24, 2021 commencing at 8.00 a.m. at the Great Court. World Environment Day

The College of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences (CAVS) joined the international community in observing the World Environment Day that is marked globally every year on June 5th. To mark the day, CAVS, in liaison with like-minded stakeholders planted 200 tree seedlings at the College Dam, off Lower Kabete Road.

Partnering In Afforestation Beyond Covid -19 Pandemic

As we celebrate 50 years of excellence, College of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences and the University of Nairobi at large in partnership with the Equity Group Foundation and Kenya Forest Service held a tree planting activity at Wangari Maathai Institute for Peace and Environmental Studies and Kanyariri Vet farm on 18th May, 2021.

Launch: Future Animal Health Innovation Lab program

Monday 17th May 2021, a blended ceremony was held to officially launch the Feed the Future Animal Health Innovation Lab program. A physical event was Held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nairobi and virtually for participants based in the USA and Kenya. The Innovation lab will be based at the Department of Clinical Studies, College of Agriculture, and Veterinary Services-University of Nairobi.
