The second Annual International Scientific conference was a three-day blended event that was
held from 30th October to 1st November, 2024 within the time frame of the Nairobi Research
Week. The theme of the conference was: “Harnessing Research in Veterinary Science for
Resilience and Sustainability of Communities” The opening of the conference was graced by
the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Research Innovation and Enterprise in the company of Dean,
faculty of Veterinary Medicine. It was combined with a Corporate Social Responsibility activity
held on 2nd November, 2024 at Chief’s Camp, Ndumbuini.
The second Annual International Scientific conference, 2024 was a blended conference that
attracted local and international speakers. The conference was organized by Science, Technology
and Innovation committee of the faculty. The coordinated efforts of Scientific, Resource
Mobilization & Fund Raising, Publicity, Welfare Program & Activities sub-committees yielded a
successful conference.
