Thursday 28th September,2023, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Stephen Kiama addressed over 11,000 first year students in the historic Taifa Hall. He was accompanied by Deans and Associate Deans from the eleven (11) faculties, Chairmen of Departments and Directors.

The University of Nairobi scooped 7 trophies and many prize certificates at this year’s Nairobi International Trade Fair 2023 (NITF). The University was crowned number 1 in the category of the Best Stand that interpretes the current show theme (Education and Research), The Best stand in Youth Activities, Empowerment and Capacity Building. The University was position 2 in the Best University Stand and The Best stand embracing ICT systems.

The other 3 trophies were for Farm and Dairy Section, Poultry Section and Rabbits Section.

The Department of Public Health, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, will be hosting an Inaugural hybrid Master of Science in One Health and Emergency Research Ethics (MOHERE) workshop, under theme: Responsible Conduct of Research, from October 2nd to 6th 2023.
