The faculty of Veterinary medicine (FVM) is excited to welcome a group of exchange students from Unilasalle, France. The 5 veterinary undergraduate students will join our students during coursework for the duration of this semester. Further, the French students will be participating in various academic and extracurricular activities, sharing their experiences, and learning from our activity rich campus environment. We promise a fulfilling and memorable semester.

The Faculty of Vet.Med was privileged to attend the 58th Annual Scientific conference in Isiolo County from 24th to 28th April 2024.
The conference was attended by the Associate Dean, Projects and Attachments Coordinator and the Senior Administrative Assistant.
The faculty was able to participate in the field day activities such as vaccination and deworming of livestock.
All Graduates of the 70th Congregation for the conferment of Degrees and award of Diplomas held on December 15, 2023 are requested to collect their certificates from the University of Nairobi Central Examinations Centre, Chiromo Campus starting from Wednesday, 17th January 2024 to Friday, 9th February, 2024
Quinter Awino and Hammerton Sila have been crowned as the Mr and Miss UoN for the academic year 2023/2024. This prestigious title was bestowed upon them during an elegant event hosted at the renowned Bomas of Kenya on the night of December 1, 2023. Beyond being a conventional pageantry competition, the event served as a dynamic platform for students, particularly Quinter and Hammerton, to showcase not only their physical charm but also their diverse talents and abilities.
In the recent concluded signing of 2023/2024 Performance contracts and the celebration of 2022/2023 performance recognition and awards which was held in Taifa Hall on Monday, 27th November 2023, The Faculty of Vet. Medicine emerged position 3 with a score of 2.6332 in all the 10 faculties.
The Vice chancellor presented the Certificate and the trophy to Prof. J.D Mande, Dean Faculty of Vet. Medicine for the exemplary performance.

The University is set to hold the 6th Annual Research Week on Monday-Friday, October 23-27, 2023. The theme of the Conference is, 'Harnessing Research for Resilience and Sustainability of Community'
This year's research week has 16 thematic conferences that will bring together researchers from all over the world to attend the conferences whose mode of delivery is blended for some, and virtual for others.
