The Faculty of Vet. Medicine aids control units, Aids Control Units (ACU) had a Successful meeting on 18th November 2024 at the Dean's Board room to deliberate on how they can engage members of staff on matters on disease prevention and management and also to sensitize the ACU's on the new HIV, ADAP and mental health policies.

The second Annual International Scientific conference was a three-day blended event that was
held from 30th October to 1st November, 2024 within the time frame of the Nairobi Research
Week. The theme of the conference was: “Harnessing Research in Veterinary Science for
Resilience and Sustainability of Communities” The opening of the conference was graced by
the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Research Innovation and Enterprise in the company of Dean,
faculty of Veterinary Medicine. It was combined with a Corporate Social Responsibility activity
