Students Participates in world rabies day

Clinical Studies Department actively participated in World Rabies Day. In commemorating the event, they succeeded in vaccinating over 500 dogs from rabies disease and castrating more than 100 dogs in Kiambu County. This was done by Veterinary Medicine Students from One Health Club. It was an opportunity for sensitization on the importance of vaccination against rabies.

VERU community outreach drive

Faculty of Veterinary Medicine partnered with the Veterinary Emergency Unit (VERU)  organized a
community outreach drive. Students and Lecturers from the faculty participated in this exercise whose
aim was to vaccinate livestock against foot and mouth disease, management of sick animals and
deworming. The event took place in Makueni County.
