On March 27, 2024, the University of Nairobi Faculty of Veterinary Medicine witnessed the highly anticipated UNSA elections. Team Changers, led by Jan Sydney Kigen Sang, BVM 3, secured victory by a margin of just 8 votes.
All Graduates of the 70th Congregation for the conferment of Degrees and award of Diplomas held on December 15, 2023 are requested to collect their certificates from the University of Nairobi Central Examinations Centre, Chiromo Campus starting from Wednesday, 17th January 2024 to Friday, 9th February, 2024

Quinter Awino and Hammerton Sila have been crowned as the Mr and Miss UoN for the academic year 2023/2024. This prestigious title was bestowed upon them during an elegant event hosted at the renowned Bomas of Kenya on the night of December 1, 2023. On Tuesday, November 14, 2023, In an effort to enhance collaboration between different organs and units of the university, the top management of the University of Nairobi, led by Council Chair Prof. Amukowa Anangwe, has gathered in Mombasa for a three-day induction retreat. The primary objective of this session is to offer a comprehensive understanding of the university's operations and to encourage a collective approach to addressing challenges. Prof. Anangwe emphasized the importance of evaluating the strategies devised by the management to tackle the university's pain points.
Monday 13th November 2023, the Faculty of Vet. Medicine honoured iniative by the government to plant 15bn trees by 2032 to tackle the climate crisis and deforestation amid worsening impacts such as a severe drought in the country and the wider Horn of Africa region.
The Event was flagged off by Prof. Mande, Dean FVM, Dr. Onono, Chairman PHPT and Vet.Farm Manager Mr. Augastine Raila.
