On April 25, 2025, the dedicated staff of our department participated in a tree planting exercise at University of Nairobi Vet Farm, Kanyariri. This initiative was part of our commitment to environmental conservation and creating a greener, healthier future. By planting trees, we are helping to restore natural habitats, combat climate change, and enhance the beauty of our surroundings.
Together, we’re making a lasting impact—one tree at a time.
In alignment with the National Tree Growing Restoration Campaign and in compliance with Presidential Directives aimed at growing 15 billion trees nationwide by the year 2032, the Department of Veterinary Pathology, Microbiology and Parasitology conducted a successful tree-growing exercise on May 9, 2025, at the Kanyari Veterinary Farm.
